Social Skills NT workshops assists children to develop their conversational, resilience and social skills in a small group environment. Children will build their confidence and interpersonal toolkits, that can assist with their development of meaningful and healthy relationships with their peers, educators, and families. Carers are also shown the techniques learnt after the session to help extend the practices into the home environment, whilst a facilitator assists the children in practicing their new skills in a play environment.

SECRET AGENT SOCIETY

An espionage-themed resources provide an evidence-based, comprehensive and captivating solution to structured social and emotional learning for children aged 8-12 years old.

Our Course Curriculum covers the following topics:

  • Recognize emotions in others

  • Recognize their own emotions

  • Express their thoughts and feelings in appropriate & calm ways

  • Know strategies for handling feelings of anger and anxiety

  • Communicate with others in ways that others are open to

  • Play with others, using strategies such as taking turns and negotiating

  • Handle mistakes, transitions, surprises, and unexpected problems

  • Strategies for building and maintaining friendships

  • Knowing how to deal with day-to-day issues that come up in friendships

  • Recognizing the difference between playful joking and actual bullying

  • Strategies for prevention and handling of bullying and teasing

 

Calling all Cadets!

Are you aged 8-12 years old and ready to solve the mystery of emotions and social encounters?

Join a small group of fellow Cadets and learn to decode how you and others feel and behave. During your Cadet Club Meetings you will collect secret codes and gadgets and be given special missions to practice using your new spy skills at home, school and play.

You will need access to a device, computer or tablet with internet connection.
